We went to dinner in the restaurant yesterday evening with a reservation. We were very pleased to see nicely set tables, unfortunately not for us. Our place was like a waiting hall at the train station, no tablecloth, no decorations, no candles, etc. The menu is kept small (probably due to Corna). The food was okay but without a whistle, carelessly arranged like canteen food. The service was not available, no demand whether we would like to have a drink or a coffee. This is a shame as the space is very original. But if you want to eat well on Saturdays, you'd better try another restaurant.

After visiting the monastery and the church as well as the monastery garden, we recommend a rest in the monastery restaurant.

Food slapped into the plate. Spaetzle were homemade but nothing special. Much too big a portion. It's a shame for all the food that's thrown away

Good steak. Get it on your plate as ordered. However, the steak with steak cutlery would have been better. Nice service and courteous staff. Nice ambience. Always my pleasure.

Motorcyclists are probably not welcome. Wanted to stop for lunch, supposedly all tables except one were reserved in the blazing sun. When an older couple came they could choose a table freely. When we asked the couple, they had not made reservations. Great...! There is probably no more rejection and we are not "rockers".

Hi Guys. Have again made a little detour to the company Häussler. The monastery restaurant is a great place to start. The ambience is just great. A nice old building, probably an old barn. The beam construction of the roof fascinates me again and again. In good weather, you can sit outside very nice, right on the old monastery wall. The food is rich and good. The 🍺 is a bit strange for the Rhinelander, but you get used to it very quickly. Since the restaurant is located directly in the monastery grounds, you can discover a lot. A very well-kept herb garden, a quiet little park and it is also grilled on certain dates. The restaurant is also for wheelchair users no problem, everything good to drive without big obstacles. I would like to mention again that you can stay in the beautiful monastery also. Here you always meet someone for a good conversation. Highly recommended for people who want to switch off, and peace seek.

The atmosphere is typical of a monastery. Calm and quiet are the masters. Great food and good beer, all seasoned with a prepared and kind staff.

We came by accident into the restaurant. Are very enthusiastic about the good food. The wait staff are friendly and accommodating. All in all, completely satisfied with the location.
